Helen and Fighting To Be Heard

Global womenswear brand, Forever Unique and owner Seema Malhotra, hosted a star-studded event at Menagerie Restaurant & Bar on March 14th in collaboration with our charity, Fighting To Be Heard, to raise awareness and funds for incurable Secondary Breast Cancer. 

Over 150 high-profile guests attended including; Helen Flanagan, Brooke Vincent, Sally Dynevor, Bhanvna Limbachia and Real Housewives of Cheshire Stars; Rachel Lugo, Hanna Kinsella, Nicole Sealey and Lauren Simon;  this was a ticketed event with donations going to the Fighting To Be Heard Charity.  

Actress Bhavna Limbachia said: “ I’m honoured to be supporting the Fighting To Be Heard Foundation who amplify the voices of those affected by secondary breast cancer. To all those warriors.. I salute you!” 

Coronation street star Sally Dynevor said: “I know many women don’t feel their voices are being heard.   Fighting To Be Heard is providing vital education and support to patients and their families to raise awareness of secondary breast cancer. The charity helps fund critical secondary breast cancer research and facilitates access to patient trials which has had a significant impact on the lives of many.”

Actress Brooke Vincent said: “I feel so honoured to be in a room full of inspirational people and support such an important course.”

Actress Helen Flanagan said: “I admire the advocates of The Fighting To Be Heard charity, it was amazing to meet such strong and inspiring women.”

The event follows on from the successful Forever Unique x Fighting To Be Heard International Women’s Day campaign that shined the light on the plight of our founders diagnosed with Secondary Breast Cancer and how this disease claims thousands of lives each year, Forever Unique shared the stories of our ladies, educated their followers and urged people to donate. 

Showcasing all advocates of The Fighting To Be Heard charity, the event featured a modern fashion show and an exclusive performance from singer Natasha Hamilton.

I am so glad that we are able to use our platform to raise awareness and give these women an even bigger voice.”
